TODAY IS EARTH DAY!

Earth Day is an annual event on April 22 to demonstrate support for environmental protection. First held on April 22, 1970, it now includes a wide range of events coordinated globally by EARTHDAY.ORG including 1 billion people in more than 193 countries

This year's theme: Restore Our Earth

The theme for this year's Earth Day is "Restore Our Earth" which focuses on natural processes and emerging green technologies that can restore the world's ecosystems.

EXTRA POINTS OPPORTUNITY!!!

Great opportunity to catch up with your assignments. Today, we celebrate the EARTH. We will launch an Earth Day Student Poster Contest. This year's theme is “Restore our Earth.” Posters can be up to 12”x18” in size and should highlight actions that can make a difference. Submit your poster before May, 14. Please be sure to include your name, grade and a short description explaining why it is important to restore our Earth. Carefully, glue it behind your poster. Teachers will vote for the best poster. Posters will be exhibited around our school.
