Hello class, recently we have been discussing important skills in order to get a job, but we also need to consider what it will take to keep a job after we are hired. At your table take a look at the list below and then come up with scenarios/examples in which you can demonstrate each point. Afterwards we will share information that each group came up with. You will complete this either on your computer or on a larger post it note. Be thorough and creative please!
 
How to keep a job
  1. Consider if you can make any beneficial changes.
  2. Get along with your coworkers. 
  3. Be irreplaceable. 
  4. Do your job to the best of your ability. 
  5.  Be Prepared
  6. Maintain a good attendance record/Be punctual.
  7. Offer your assistance. 
  8. Add valuable contributions.
