For this skills test, you will show that you know how to use verbs. In Chapter 2, under the 'Regular Verbs' section, there is a list of verbs. You should be able to use those. I might ask you several questions related to school like, "¿Estudias mucho?" (Do you study much?). You then would reply, "Sí, yo estudio mucho." Another example might be, "Quién enseña tu clase de matemáticas?" Then you might say something like, "Señora Blankenship enseña la clase."
